Formula E 2025 Sarinah Jakarta E-Prix Successfully Held
Light House Denver – The 2025 Sarinah Jakarta E-Prix, part of the 11th ABB FIA Formula E season, was successfully held in Jakarta. The race took place at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) in Ancol. A total of 22 world-class drivers from 11 renowned teams competed in this championship, which highlights innovation, technology, and sustainability.
Indonesia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, spoke on behalf of the Vice President. He emphasized that the participation of elite drivers and teams shows the world’s trust in Indonesia as a host of international sporting events.

As the title partner, PT Sarinah (Persero) carried the theme “From Heritage to Future” in supporting Formula E. Sarinah’s CEO, Raisha Syarfuan, underscored the importance of blending local values with modern, environmentally friendly sports and technology.
“We envision the Sarinah Jakarta E-Prix as a transformative sportainment platform, where local wisdom meets innovation, raising sustainability awareness and proving Indonesia’s readiness to embrace a new era,” Raisha explained.
Formula E is recognized as the only global racing championship that prioritizes sustainability and future mobility. Jakarta used this platform to strengthen its position as a global city. Moreover, it is moving toward becoming greener, smarter, and more inclusive.
This event was strengthened by multi-sector collaboration. Companies like GulaVit contributed by promoting sustainable local farming practices. Meanwhile, Bank Artha Graha Internasional and Electronic City Indonesia also supported the event’s success.
