King Salman Invites 1,000 Palestinians for Free Hajj Pilgrimage
Light House Denver – The Saudi government has once again shown compassion by inviting 1,000 Palestinians to perform the Hajj Pilgrimage free of charge. The government extends the invitation to the families of martyrs, political prisoners, and those directly affected by the ongoing conflict with Israel.
This noble initiative is part of the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program, which annually hosts thousands of pilgrims from various countries to perform Hajj and Umrah.
Hundreds of Palestinian pilgrims, including 500 from Gaza, arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Monday (June 2). Upon arrival, they were warmly received. The Saudi government assisted them in their journey to the holy city of Makkah, where special accommodations awaited them.

The government provides each pilgrim with comprehensive support, including transportation, religious guidance, and healthcare services. These measures ensure their comfort and a smooth pilgrimage experience while fulfilling the fifth pillar of Islam.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, Sheikh Abdullatif Al Sheikh, stated that this program is a tangible expression of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s dedicated leadership. It also reflects their deep concern for Muslims in Palestine.
Launched in 1996, the program has expanded significantly over the years. This year, it has extended invitations to a total of 2,443 pilgrims from 100 countries around the world.
Saudi Arabia not only offers this free Hajj pilgrimage as religious aid but also demonstrates profound solidarity and empathy for the suffering Palestinian people. By giving conflict victims the opportunity to perform Hajj, Saudi Arabia sends a clear message that they are not alone.
The program uplifts the spirits and hopes of Palestinians who have long endured hardship. It also symbolizes the strength and unity of the global Islamic community.
By successfully implementing this initiative, Saudi Arabia reinforces its religious ties with fellow Muslims. It also highlights its strategic role in leading high-impact humanitarian efforts recognized by the Islamic world.
