In comparison, another vivid blue diamond fetched a much higher price in 2016. Auctioned at Christie’s in Geneva, it reached 56.8 million Swiss Francs (about US$ 68.7 million), making it one of the most expensive blue diamonds ever sold.

They will auction this collection on May 13, 2025, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Geneva.
