Through an Instagram post, Bruno Mars not only thanked ROSÉ for the moment but also made a humorous remark about the long-standing rumor regarding his alleged debts.
“Almost paid off my debts BehhhhhhBehhhhhh!!! Thank you ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!!” he wrote on his @brunomars account, which currently has over 42.3 million followers, as quoted by Billboard on Wednesday (July 16, 2025).
ROSÉ casually responded with, “ya welcome.”

The joke referred to an old rumor claiming that Bruno had racked up $50 million in gambling debt at MGM Grand Las Vegas, where he signed a long-term residency deal in 2016. However, MGM officially denied the claim in March 2024.
“That speculation is entirely false. Bruno has no debt with MGM,” the company stated.
Bruno has since used the rumor as comedic material. After breaking the record as the first artist to reach 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify, he jokingly wrote, “I’ll be debt-free soon.”
