Bruno Mars Jokes: Duet with Rosé Almost Paid Off My Debts!
Light House Denver – Renowned singer and musician Bruno Mars made a surprise appearance at BLACKPINK’s concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. He performed alongside ROSÉ, delighting fans on Saturday, July 13, 2025. The unexpected collaboration quickly sparked excitement among fans.
Through an Instagram post, Bruno Mars not only thanked ROSÉ for the moment but also made a humorous remark about the long-standing rumor regarding his alleged debts.
“Almost paid off my debts BehhhhhhBehhhhhh!!! Thank you ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!!” he wrote on his @brunomars account, which currently has over 42.3 million followers, as quoted by Billboard on Wednesday (July 16, 2025).
ROSÉ casually responded with, “ya welcome.”

Their energetic and chemistry-filled performance captivated the audience. ROSÉ also shared several fun behind-the-scenes and onstage moments on her social media. Her caption, delivered with playful flair, read:
“Look at me and THIS HUNK-O-RAMAA.”
The moment went viral across social media, reinforcing Bruno’s image not only as a talented musician but also as someone with a great sense of humor.
The joke referred to an old rumor claiming that Bruno had racked up $50 million in gambling debt at MGM Grand Las Vegas, where he signed a long-term residency deal in 2016. However, MGM officially denied the claim in March 2024.
“That speculation is entirely false. Bruno has no debt with MGM,” the company stated.
Bruno has since used the rumor as comedic material. After breaking the record as the first artist to reach 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify, he jokingly wrote, “I’ll be debt-free soon.”
Bruno and ROSÉ performed their hit track “APT.”, released last October. The song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 for 12 consecutive weeks.
This duet adds to Bruno’s growing list of high-profile collaborations this year, including his Grammy-winning track “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and the viral hit “Fat Juicy & Wet” with rapper Sexyy Red.
